Acceptable Use Policy

Avartan · avartan.ai · avartan.com.au — Effective date: 11 August 2026

This policy governs all use of the Avartan Service, including content you create, publish, or distribute through it. It is part of our Terms of Service. We may remove content, throttle features, or suspend accounts that violate it.

1. Illegal or Harmful Content

Do not create or publish content that:

  • is illegal, or promotes illegal activity;
  • exploits or endangers minors in any way (zero tolerance; reported to authorities);
  • is sexually explicit or non-consensual intimate imagery;
  • incites violence, terrorism, or hatred against protected groups;
  • promotes self-harm, dangerous "challenges," or the sale of regulated goods (weapons, drugs) contrary to law or platform policy.

2. Deception, Impersonation, and Synthetic Media

  • No non-consensual likenesses. Do not create AI avatars, voices, or "character swaps" of a real person without their documented consent. No avatars of public figures, celebrities, or politicians without authorization.
  • No deceptive deepfakes. Do not create synthetic media intended to deceive viewers about real events, endorsements, or statements a person never made.
  • Follow disclosure rules. Label AI-generated or synthetic content where a platform or law requires it, and comply with advertising-disclosure requirements (e.g. FTC endorsement guides) for promotional content.
  • No fraud — scams, phishing, fake reviews or testimonials, pyramid/MLM recruiting misrepresentation, or misleading financial/health claims.

3. Intellectual Property

  • Only upload media you have the right to use (footage, music, images, trademarks, personal likenesses).
  • The remix feature must be used to create new content inspired by structure and style — not to reproduce or closely imitate a specific creator's post. See the Copyright Policy.
  • Do not remove watermarks or attribution to conceal a work's origin.

4. Platform Integrity

  • Only connect social accounts you are authorized to operate.
  • Do not use the Service to evade a platform ban or restriction, buy/sell engagement, coordinate fake-engagement rings, or otherwise manipulate platform metrics.
  • Respect posting limits enforced by the Service; do not attempt to circumvent them with multiple accounts or workspaces.
  • Comply with each connected platform's terms and community guidelines. You are responsible for the standing of your accounts.

5. Spam

  • No bulk unsolicited or repetitive low-value content designed to flood platforms.
  • No misleading clickbait that misrepresents what the linked content or product is.

6. Service Integrity and Security

Do not:

  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without written authorization;
  • access other users' data or bypass access controls;
  • interfere with the Service (DoS, excessive automated load beyond documented API limits);
  • scrape the Service, resell it, or misrepresent API output, except as allowed by your plan or a whitelabel agreement;
  • reverse engineer the Service except where the law permits;
  • use the Service to develop a competing dataset of the inspiration library.

7. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take action ranging from content removal and feature limits to account suspension or termination, and we may notify platforms or law enforcement where appropriate. We will give notice and an opportunity to respond where practicable and lawful.
